Recessional: Born to Run
—Our wedding program. Somehow, by means in which I still do not quite fully understand, I have managed to work this Springsteen classic into the ceremony on Sept. 10. Performed by a string quartet, nonetheless. I’d have loved to have seen the musicians’ faces when that request came in. “But what about Vivaldi?”
